As described by Billy Blue Eye

Stangl Pottery of Trenton, New Jersey created "Terra Rose Artware" in 1940 as a response to the success of Italian and Spanish faience pottery. The line used shapes from nature: roses, cosmos and ferns. Two leaves form this vase, which is glazed in a satin blue finish and incised "Stangl, USA 3236" (the mold number) on the back. Two holes for hanging.
