As described by Billy Blue Eye

This 13" whimsical, hand-painted decorative plate by Marc Bellaire has his signature on the front and is incised on the back with the name of the artisan, "Frances," who painted the charger under Bellaire's directive in 1956. Bellaire (1925-1994) was a well known and highly respected painter, writer, teacher, designer and ceramicist. He was named to the top ten list of 1950's artware designers by his peers. A metal plate hanging kit is included.
