Why We Love This

French folk costume pochior fashion plates (multiple layers of vivid colors have been hand-applied via stencil to a lithograph). Displayed with hard stock mats and descriptive letterpress text printed on mounted labels at the foot of each plate. Colors are vibrant and bright. The plates came from the book Les Costumes Regionaux De France (Regional Costumes of France) published by G. de Gardilanne and E. W. Moffat, 1929. Each image measures 9.5”L x 15”W.

Why We Love This
