Why We Love This

A Louis XV-style marquetry marble-top commode by Maslow-Freen, circa1950. Black and white removable marble serpentine top. Intricate satinwood inlaid detailing and gilded brass mounts. Includes original key. Top drawer is felt-lined and divided for flatware. Small patch of veneer missing above second drawer. Sun fading on left side and across the front.
