Why We Love This

Set of three sterling candlesticks by famed silversmiths S. Kirk Son Co. of Baltimore. Kirk introduced America to repoussé, the art of hammering sterling from the backside. Candlesticks are lavishly decorated with an array of flowers, grapes and leaves. Each bobeche is clearly marked by S. Kirk Son. One bobeche is slightly bent but can be easily straightened. One bobeche is missing. Sterling silver, not weighted.
