As described by devonia antiques for dining

An elaborate and decorative pair of small 19th-century English tureens, possibly by Ridgway. Hand-decorated in ruby red and pink trimmed in 24-karat gold. Probably for sauce or individual servings of soup. Both have covers, stands, and under plates. Crisp white porcelain with detailed shaped bases and intertwined handles. Maker's stamp on underside. Tureen, 4"Dia x 8"W x 6.5"H; underplate 9"Dia x 1.25"H.
