As described by
From an original painting for use in 1950s French classrooms for elocution lessons. Illustrated and signed by Hélène Poirié. The scene is wonderful and typical of French village life, one of the most sought after and rare posters of Poirié's series. Note the heated discussion of the messieurs at the café table, the boulangère in front of her bakery. and the other charming details.
