As described by
Poems of Childhood by Eugene Field, illustrated by Maxfield Parrish. New York, Scribner's, 1922, a later printing. Hardcover. 199 pages with eight full-page color plates in perfect condition. The last few pages have been roughly opened, and there is a small smudge on the front endpaper, otherwise very good in mildly edgeworn and rubbed black cloth, with a Maxfield Parrish illustration on the front cover.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
