One of 1,950 copies signed by illustrator Joseph Low who contributed numerous black and white sketches. First published in 1674, and covers billiards, bowling, chess, backgammon and many other table games, as well as riding, racing and archery. Very fine in full polished leather and a slipcase.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
