Antique copper ceremonial currency staff from the Kuba tribe in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Metal currencies were used for finalizing deals between individuals or tribes. Removable copper tip on a wood shaft with metal embellishment. Mounted on a reclaimed iron base, 29"H x 5"Dia.
