Why We Love This

Set of three early 1900s powder tins. The two smaller are still sealed with their original contents. Largest is by Richard Hudnut, New York/Paris. Beautiful peacock and floral graphics. The Florodor Poudre de Beaute by Sauze Freres Paris is marked "P.M. and Soliel Pour Brune" on the underside, 3"Dia x 1"H. The Petalia face powder by Tokalon was made in Italy. Marked "Bianca" with serial number "20130" on the bottom, 2.5"Dia x .75"H.

About Relique

At their online shop Relique, Rick Brandt and Mary Beth Voss showcase vintage and repurposed interior accents that are unique with history, texture, and soul. Their pieces are a cross-section of Then and Now and include Industrial Age designs as well as artisanal adaptations of classic treasures. Relique gives forgotten and ignored bits of history new life as display pieces, in the hopes that new generations will appreciate their past.
