A splendid early-20th-century Jaff Kurdish bagface, the front panel of a bag woven by nomadic tribes of the Middle East and Central Asia for utilitarian and decorative purposes.These bags were often used for transporting goods while on migration. They also served as storage containers in tents. Bags are specialized, for carrying mirrors, for carrying the Qur'an, for carrying tent stakes and more.
