Why We Love This

The Red Book by Carl Jung. Translated by Dr.Shamsani. NY: W.W. Norton Co., 2009. Hardcover with dust jacket. 212 color illustrations by Jung. First Edition, first printing. 371 pages. This book was written after Jung's break with Freud. Jung's family and archivist hid the book for 60 years. The publisher vastly underestimated this book's audience. This is a beautiful large and complex work from one of the most important and original minds of the 20th century.

About Antique & Art Exchange

San Francisco’s Antique & Art Exchange was founded in 1995 by Keith Dieterich and Howard Settle. The shop was an immediate success, promptly credited by design legend Tony Hail in a Town & Country article as having "practically nothing ugly." Today its clientele boasts heads of state, politicians, billionaires, writers, artists, celebs, dealers, and (naturally) designers, all of whom flock to the Design District showroom to shop for antiquities, modern pieces, and everything in between.
