As described by
The Cooks' Catalogue edited by James Beard, et al. New York: Harper Row, 1975. Hardcover. 565 pages, with 200 recipes and 1,700 illustrations. A real labor of love and a cook's must-read collection of informative essays. Slight vintage browning to page edges, else fine in terracotta cloth and a mildly worn and chipped dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
