Why We Love This

Two Black Sheep by Harry Leon Wilson. NY: Cosmopolitan Book Corp., 1931. First Edition. 336 pages. Hardcover with dust jacket. Dust jacket illustration by Joy. Old world nobility meets New World cinema in this madcap novel set in Hollywood. Dust jacket tipped to the endpapers and removal required a minor amount of fraying and tearing. There is now a minor hole on the front flap of the jacket, which also has a chip on the lower spine and minor fraying.

About Nick Harvill Libraries

California-based Nick Harvill Libraries specializes in out-of-print and rare books from the 20th century on fashion, design, art, social history, travel, Hollywood, and photography. NHL and its books have been profiled in Vogue, C Magazine, The Peak of Chic, Angeleno, Vogue Living, the Los Angeles Times, and American Express’s Black Ink Magazine. Elle Décor recommended NHL for its “hip vintage books” from a “smart young dealer.”
