As described by
Mint condition Beacon-brand early-20th-century blanket, also called a women's wearing shawl because of the somewhat smaller size and fringe sewn all around. The bold plaid design is based on American handwoven 19th-century blankets, quite unusual to find in a Beacon. Useable on either side; on the reverse the large squares are navy blue.
