Why We Love This

This gorgeous pillow is made of Japanese hand-dyed and hand-embroidered silk from a kimono. The stitching is very fine, hence the name "blind stitch." The back of the pillow is made from the inside of the kimono. There might be areas where the gold wire bullion might have crinkled a bit or slightly moved from it position -- to be expected given the age of the fabric. A truly beautiful piece. Down-filled, with hidden zipper.
