Yarn paintings are a traditional art in which the Huichol people recorded dreams, visions, myths, and the personal prayers of the artist. This 1970s work is by Martin de la Cruz. The wool yarn is pressed into beeswax on a wood board. Signed on the back. Frame has minor areas of paint loss.
