Japanese Kutani Eagle Vase
Substantial porcelain vase painted with an eagle in a pine tree and traditional symbols of strength. This limited series was commissioned by the late legendary interior designer Lucia Lawrence from a small family-owned kiln in the Kutani region of Japan in the 1980s exclusively for the luxury brand Lawrence & Scott. The vibrant yellow and intricate design are both signatures of the Kutani region. Signed on the underside. Comes with the original packaging. Production under 50 pieces.

Rosewood Coffee Table
Vintage rosewood coffee table featuring a hand-carved, reticulated apron and fretwork detail on each foot. Full-board width rosewood floating top construction allows for changes in humidity and will not crack. Covered in natural tree lacquer for a glossy, waterproof-proof finish. Commissioned by legendary designer Lucia Lawrence in the 1980s for Lawrence & Scott in Seattle.
A Sri Lanka (Ceylon) cane seat, tiffin chair ca. 1860 in good condition. Structurally sound, handmade out of teak and ebonized wood, joined and pegged, with newly restored hand woven cane. Stiles are slightly curved and crest rail has an applied pierced and intricately carved floral spray. Acquired by legendary interior designer Lucia Lawrence for her private collection in Colombo in 1972. It has been unused and stored in her company Lawrence & Scott's climate controlled warehouse.

All Black lacquer side table
Large black lacquer finished side table with storage. Custom antiqued hardware allows for locking the storage area, which has a middle shelf. The black lacquer used to finish all surfaces was naturally produced and applied by top craftsman in Hong Kong, creating a unique "wet look". Designed and commissioned by legendary interior designer Lucia Lawrence for Lawrence & Scott in Seattle in the 80s, the table is new and has been stored in the L&S climate controlled warehouse.
A traditional design and century old craftsmanship using top grade rosewood. Two-door storage area and two drawers with hand carved bead and profile, and brass door pulls. Handmade in one of the finest furniture workshops in Hong Kong in the 80s for Lucia Lawrence, a legendary LA interior designer and the founder of Lawrence & Scott in Seattle, for use to display other items to the design trade. This has been very carefully used, and it has always been in a a climate controlled environment.

Extremely rare Ceylon era cane seat from India with tapering square legs on toupe feet to front, tiger-like back leg design, shaped rail-joined muttonleg rear legs, all rising to a caned seat centering down-turned spatulate arms and straight stiles and crest rail. Cane was hand woven and in great condition. Minor scuffs and abrasions. Surveyed by Barbara Roberts and appraised by Robert Dishmond in Seattle. From designer Lucia Lawrence's private collection, stored in climate controlled warehouse.
