Gift Card Terms & Conditions LAST UPDATED: 12/10/2025

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) govern the purchase, use, and acceptance of OKL Operations, LLC d/b/a One Kings Lane (“One Kings Lane,” “OKL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) electronic gift cards (“Gift Cards”). By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Gift Card Terms and by the OKL Website Terms & Conditions (the “T&C”), including the Arbitration Agreement, Class Action Waiver, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law provisions located at: https://www.onekingslane.com/terms-and-conditions

If you do not agree to these Gift Card Terms, do not purchase or use a Gift Card.

1. Issuer and Sole Obligor

Gift Cards are issued solely by One Kings Lane, which is the sole obligor and responsible party to the cardholder. No third party is obligated to honor or redeem a Gift Card. OKL may delegate performance obligations to service providers, but OKL remains the sole obligor.


2. Eligibility

Gift Cards may be purchased and used only by individuals who are 18 years of age or older, consistent with the OKL Terms & Conditions.


3. Purchasing Gift Cards

Gift Cards may be purchased exclusively online at onekingslane.com.

  • Issued in U.S. dollars.
  • May be purchased in amounts between $10 and $2,000, unless otherwise stated.
  • A single individual may not purchase more than $10,000 in Gift Cards in one day.
  • Gift Cards are digital-only and delivered electronically to the purchaser’s designated email address.
  • Payment must be received before the Gift Card becomes activated.
  • Gift Cards obtained from unauthorized sellers or resale platforms are invalid and may not be honored.

4. Fraud & Scam Warnings

Gift Cards may be targeted by scammers. To protect yourself:

  • Do not purchase Gift Cards as payment for anyone you do not know.
  • If someone instructs you to purchase a Gift Card to pay a bill, debt, or fee, do not proceed.
  • Only purchase Gift Cards directly from OKL.

OKL is not responsible for unauthorized use, fraud, or misuse of Gift Cards, except as required by law.


5. About the Gift Card

Your Gift Card:

  • Is a closed-loop, limited-use electronic stored-value card
  • Is redeemable only at onekingslane.com
  • Is not a credit card, debit card, deposit account, or prepaid open-loop card
  • Earns no interest
  • Is not insured by the FDIC

6. Redemption & Use

Gift Cards may be used to purchase merchandise on onekingslane.com up to the available balance.

If your purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, you must pay the remainder using another accepted payment method.

Gift Cards may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law (e.g., certain states require cash-out below a small threshold).

Coupons, promotions, or discounts may not be applied to the purchase of a Gift Card.


7. Limitations on Use

Gift Cards may not be used to:

  • Purchase another Gift Card
  • Pay for previously purchased merchandise
  • Pay any credit or installment account
  • Conduct fraudulent or unlawful activities
  • Redeem outside of onekingslane.com

Resale of Gift Cards is prohibited, consistent with the OKL T&C section “Goods Not for Resale or Export”

Gift Cards are final sale, nonrefundable, and may not be returned except where required by law.

8. Reloadability

Gift Cards are not reloadable, unless OKL announces reload functionality in the future.

9. Returns & Merchandise Credits

All merchandise purchased with a Gift Card is subject to the OKL Return Policy in effect at the time of return.

If a return is processed for an order paid with a Gift Card:

  • Refunds will be issued back to the same Gift Card.
  • If multiple payment methods were used, refunds will follow OKL’s standard return policy.

10. No Expiration or Fees; Unclaimed Property

Gift Cards:

  • Do not expire, and
  • Do not incur fees, including inactivity or dormancy fees.

Balances may be subject to state escheatment (unclaimed property) laws. If required, OKL will remit unclaimed balances to the appropriate state after the statutory inactivity period.


11. Risk of Loss, Theft, or Unauthorized Use

Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser upon electronic delivery to the designated email inbox.

You are responsible for safeguarding your Gift Card and all transactions associated with it.

Notwithstanding OKL’s Terms & Conditions delivery rules (pages 3–4) , these Gift Card Terms control for all Gift Card delivery and risk-of-loss questions.

OKL is not obligated to replace lost, stolen, or compromised Gift Cards, except as required by law.


12. Fraud or Unauthorized Activity

OKL may:

  • Suspend or void a Gift Card
  • Decline transactions
  • Cancel orders

if OKL suspects fraud, misuse, illegal activity, or violation of these Gift Card Terms or the OKL Terms & Conditions

13. Limitation of Liability

The OKL Website Terms & Conditions (pages 14–16) govern all limitations of liability, disclaimers of warranty, and damages caps. These provisions apply fully and equally to all Gift Cards and Gift Card transactions, except where prohibited by law.

This includes (unless otherwise prohibited by law)

  • “As-is / as-available” warranty disclaimer
  • Disclaimer of implied warranties
  • Cap on liability equal to amounts paid to OKL within the prior 12 months
  • Prohibition on indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive, and special damages

14. Arbitration Agreement; Class Action Waiver

All disputes arising from or relating to Gift Cards are governed exclusively by the Arbitration Agreement in the OKL Website Terms & Conditions, except where prohibited by law .

This means (unless otherwise prohibited by law):

  • You waive the right to a jury trial
  • You waive the right to bring or participate in class, collective, or representative actions
  • Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis
  • All informal dispute resolution procedures, notice requirements, deadlines, and fee rules in the OKL Terms & Conditions apply equally to Gift Cards
  • Claims must be brought within the one-year limitation period stated in the OKL Terms & Conditions

No separate arbitration clause applies.

15. Governing Law

Consistent with the OKL Terms & Conditions, these Gift Card Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.

16. Changes to These Terms

OKL may modify these Gift Card Terms at any time, and changes are effective immediately upon posting on onekingslane.com. Your continued use of a Gift Card after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Gift Card Terms.

This mirrors the OKL Terms & Conditions change provision.

You may check your Gift Card balance via onekingslane.com or any balance-lookup functionality provided during checkout.

19. Acknowledgment

By purchasing, using, or accepting a Gift Card, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to:

  • These Gift Card Terms
  • The OKL Terms & Conditions
  • The Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
  • The governing law and liability limitations applicable to all OKL transactions
