When Gennaro Sferra founded his eponymous company in Venice in 1891, it specialized in lace cuffs and collars. It has since expanded to become a renowned source of luxurious towels and bedding--in fact, its bath and bed linens can be found in the White House, the Vatican, and the homes of numerous celebrities.
