A stunning set of five Hutschenreuther plates, featuring an opulent combination of silver and gold with an intricate floral border. The centerpiece showcases a beautifully hand-painted peony surrounded by vibrant blossoms. Produced in Bavaria around 1919, these plates were retailed by John Wanamaker, the famed Philadelphia department store known for luxury goods. They are a remarkable blend of artistry and fine porcelain craftsmanship, perfect for display or an elegant dinner. Makers marks.

Antique porcelain Sevres cherub fishing cobalt cachepot with hand-painted gilt floral and trim accents. Hand-painted center scene illustrates a cherub fishing at a pond. No maker's mark.

Painted in 1931 by D. Petroff, a Russian artist who emigrated to France after the 1917 Russian Revolution, this pastoral oil painting captures the calm of rural life. Cows graze by a quiet pond, framed by warm autumnal tones. Petroff, along with many Russian émigrés, became part of France's thriving art scene, and this piece reflects his deep connection to nature and peaceful landscapes of the past. His delicate brushwork and attention to detail create a timeless sense of serenity. Signed.
