Why we love this

From Dalí's illustrations of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland," this piece uses the plate of the original vintage print to reproduce a scene from Chapter 3. After nearly drowning in her own tears, Alice washes up on a bank with other animals. Alice and the animals run a "caucus-race," which consists of everyone running in a circle without a clear winner. This work is set in a golden wood frame and arrives ready to hang.
