After training as a fine-arts photographer and nearly 17 years in the film business, Marjorie Skouras followed her heart to the world of interior design. A mix of periods and styles and a joyous abundance of color distinguish her style, which she describes as fairly traditional with a playful twist. Hailed as one of the nation’s top influential designers by several major shelter magazines, Skouras also has an ever-expanding line of luxury home products and lighting.

Lovely enough to display, but made to withstand
practical use: A dazzlingly detailed traditional motif was painted freehand on sauce dishes made of extremely durable and chip resistant stoneware and hand-painted by artisans in Nabeul, Tunisia.
