Why we love this
Hand-colored restrike of "A New Mappe of the Romane Empire" by John Speede, published in 1626 and reprinted in the 1970s. Map is bordered by insets of Rome, Genua, Jerusalem, Venice, Constantinople, Alexandria, as well as figures from different countries and legions of the Roman Empire. Unframed.
