Why we love this

A fine-art giclée reproduction of "Ispahan" (1888) by British textile designer John Henry Dearle. Trained by the artist and craftsman William Morris, Dearle designed many of the later wallpapers and textiles released by Morris & Co. Dearle’s traditional style, influenced not only by Morris’s own work but also by a study of historical patterns, was well suited to the technique of weaving. His patterns show strong symmetrical forms using repeating motifs of the type seen in ancient patterns from Persia, Turkey, and Italy. Custom frame.
