Why we love this
Pair of lithographs from "Album Jacquard" by Augustin Balleydier. Paris, 1856. Lithographs were printed in color after nature. Done as a 12-year project to serve as a source for the Jacquard weaving factory, these were also used in designs for other manufactured products displayed at the Exposition Universelle. Each print, 10.75"L x 14"H. Unsigned. Unframed. Have light wear to edges and margins.
