A Dallas native, Gray Malin hunts the globe for the unusual beauty captured in his photographs. He often plays with perspective through height, helicoptering over the beaches of Brazil and sending balloons above the mystical plains of Joshua Tree National Park. Malin first broke onto the scene in West Hollywood, CA, at a Sunday market, where his prints caught the interest of gallery owners, interior designers, and stylish Angelenos. Malin's work has been displayed in the Dallas Museum of Art and has been published around the world in publications such as the London "Observer."
Why we love this

Signed by Gray Malin, this image from his "Aqua Glam" series captures synchronized swimmers having a ball. This series was inspired by the elegance and glamour of synchronized swimming in the early 20th century. Using the Aqualillies as his muse, Malin photographed at the iconic 1920s Annenberg pool. Synchronized swimming combines the escape of a day at the pool and the vintage glamour of Old Hollywood--two of Malin's favorite subjects.
