Monumental Carved Whale
Monumental whale sculpture hand-carved from a solid piece of wood. Natural burl and knots inherent in the wood provide visual interest against the mellow aged patina. Two bolts on the top portion of the sculpture allow for appropriate gauge cables to be attached for hanging/suspension (see photo). Carved signature on back of sculpture reads, "D. Ostby '83." Hanging hardware/cables not included.
