Why we love this
A pair of rare Prattware cow creamers and their calves, modeled standing on green and yellow striped bases, Yorkshire, England, circa 1810.The cows are black sponge decorated enhanced with yellow patches, striped tails, curled black horns and plugged backs. The naive modelling of the calves make this pair especially appealing. Wonderful Pratt coloring.Professional restoration to the horns, and tails. The plugs may have been replaced as well.
