The owner, Maria Rowe, was trained by her parents, visiting the museums and auction houses of Europe and bringing in containers of antiques from France, Italy, England and Holland. The emphasis has always been on well constructed and beautiful furniture. The business has evolved, and now 20th-century furnishings, mirrors, art and decorations are juxtaposed with items from the 17th through 19th century.
