This 1880's Louis XV-style chest of drawers or commode is made of wood that is adorned w/ beautiful marquetry details. The facades of the drawers & on the sides feature inlaid wood designs of flowers & leaves inside a delicate border. Each drawer has 2 ornate drawer pulls & an keyhole plate. Adorning the carved serpentine legs are ornate bronze ormolu accents. The commode features the original multicolored marble slab that has a beautiful beveled edge.The locks & key are in working condition.
