A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Daisies and California Golden Poppies, a chromolithograph by Paul De Longpre (French, 1855-1911). Presented in giltwood frame. Losses to gesso in frame. Signed "Paul de Longpre" lower right in print. Circa 1890. Image size, 23"H x 24"L. Paul studied in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts with Jean Leon Gerome, Leon Bonnat. Famous French and American flower painter, most significant watercolorist to arrive in Los Angeles in the late 19th century and became the city's first major still-life painter.
