A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Ranchlands by Frederick Colbus (American, 1917-1986). Frederick Colbus was born in California on Jan. 14, 1917. Colbus spent his early life in San Francisco and later settled in Santa Cruz. Fred and Marjorie, working artists, began a design services company which supied fine art to Bay Area designers. Presented in a wooden frame. Signed "F. Colbus" lower right. Image size, 17.25"H x 47"L.
