Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original chromolithograph trading card distributed by the Au Bon Marche department store in Paris as a "thank you" for its clients in the early 1900s. Shown is a scene from a story featuring a King Charles Spaniel ("the golden haired beauty"), a gentleman of nobility, a carp and a lost ring. Displayed in a conservation mat ready to be framed. Image, 4"L x 5.25"H; overall, 10"L x 12"H. Includes a certificate with additional information, and copy of the accompanying story.
