Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Pair of original lithographs for the design of a Southern House from an 1860 folio by the American architect Samuel Sloan (1815-1884). The folio showed a variety of building styles based on existing American designs at the time it was published. Prints show the front and side views of the house. Each print: 12.5"L x 9"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and copy of the accompanying text pages describing the design.
