Mid- to late-19th-century English majolica cheese tray with running border of oak leaves and acorns on a brown bark textured ground, edged in yellow ochre. The mottled center is glazed to resemble tortoiseshell. The footed verso has a brown glazed rim. Old shallow sliver to the front rim.
