Oil on board by Aubrey Ramus. Ramus was an alias for the established artist Francis Jamieson. Jamieson was an English artist that was active between 1880 and 1910. Known for his highland landscapes and pastoral scenes Jamieson was very prolific. An important member of the Scottish Academy of Arts, Jamieson exhibited at the Royal Academy for a period of 10 years. His works are highly collectible. This work is housed in its original frame.
