After graduating from Wheaton College, he created editorial work for clients such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian Observer, GQ, Vogue, Details, Nylon, and i-D. Alex has worked with BBH, Chiat\Day, and GSD&M on campaigns for AT&T, Visa, and Southwest. In 2010, Alex and his family returned to Los Angeles from nearly a decade of living in New York. He has had several fine art shows in New York, California, and Hawaii.
Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This atmospheric image from Alex Hoerner captures the expansiveness of calm waters as they stretch to the horizon, creating a color-block effect when viewed from a distance. Printed using four levels of grayscale technology for outstanding tonal transitions, optical clarity, and contrast ratio, this piece is matted, framed, and arrives ready to hang.
