Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original 1880s chromolithograph of garden architecture by Pieter de Pannemaeker, a noted 19th-century Belgian artist and lithographer. Shown is the exterior design for a Guard House as found in a garden or park. Print appeared in an issue of L'Illustration Horticole, a Belgian horticultural periodical of the late 1800s. Includes a certificate with additional information. Minor vertical fold in print.
