Founded in 2010 by Allison Williamson, the Artist Collective is an online gallery with a mission to offer patrons affordable, original art while giving back to the communities it serves. Headquartered in Charleston, SC, the Artist Collective is also active in Atlanta, Nashville, and Washington, DC, featuring the work of these cities’ most talented artists. Under its "giving back" business model, 5% of profits are given to charitable organizations in each of its markets. To date, donations exceed $160,000.

He received his BA with High Honors from Hobart College in 1997 and received his MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2005.
