Why we love this
French side table made from walnut with a banded end top which has a bevelled edge following down to a simple apron which contains a single drawer in the front, circa 1800. The table is supported on hand turned legs which have shrinkage and nibbles, as shown in the photographs. The legs are connected by a stretcher, which has a hand turned finial in the centre of the stretcher and is raised on hand turned feet.

Condition: Good; normal wear and shrinkage and losses to legs and feet.
