Located in Midtown East Manhattan, the Phyllis Lucas Gallery/Old Print Center has one of the largest collections of antique prints and fine art in New York City. With a long and storied history, our gallery holds the distinction as the first publisher of Salvador Dali’s lithographs in America and has been among the foremost of the city's dealers in antique works on paper since its founding in 1928.
Why we love this
Set of four historic scenes of 19th-century New York City. Includes St. Paul's Church, City Hall, Printing House Square, and Wall Street. Each shows an iconic building, tree-lined, cobble-stoned streets, horse-drawn vehicles, and promenading pedestrians. Published by the Paris Etching Society and engraved in aquatint. The Paris Etching Society was founded by Sidney Z. Lucas, also the founder of the Phyllis Lucas Gallery in New York in 1928. Each engraving: 12.75"L x 16.5"H.
