Tony Buccola travels to Italy several times a year to scour the countryside and cities for unique items to fill his store, Antonio's Bella Casa, a southern California European-antiques shop. He also works closely with Italian artisans who create hand-carved wood lighting rich with patina finishes. Ten years (and dozens of forty-foot containers) later, he still gets the same rush every time he steps off the plane. “I am one of the lucky ones,” he says. “I love what I do and do what I love.”
Fashioned with precise geometric fretwork and a clean-lined
silhouette, this fixture from legendary designer E. F. Chapman puts a fresh spin on a classic lantern form. Clear glass panes and a golden finish complete the piece. Hardwired.
