Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Set of three hand-colored engravings from a 1820s folio of plants found in the Loddiges family nursery in England, one of the most notable of the 18th- and 19th-century plant nurseries in Europe. Shown are the Blue Sage, Palm (Zambia variety) and Eastern Sowbread (Cyclamen). Each print, 4"L x 6.5"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and original pages of accompanying text.
