An antique Chinese Ming Dynasty style elmwood waisted side table from the early 20th century, with woven rattan top and horse hoof legs. Born in China during the early years of the 20th century, this elegant piece was originally conceived to be used as a stool. Featuring a woven rattan square top sitting above a waisted apron adorned with delicate low-relief motifs, the table is raised on four straight legs with horse hoofed extremities, connected to one another through humpbacked stretchers.
