The Charleston Artist Collective was founded in 2010 by Allison Williamson. The Collective is comprised of local Charleston artists who produce affordable, quality, original fine art from abstracts to landscapes to still lives. Charleston Artist Collective made it their mission to give a percentage back to local charities and non-profits. In 2014, The Atlanta Artist Collective was created with Director, Laine Kilburn. The sister site has the same mission with Atlanta-based artists. Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This original painting from John Matthew Moore beautifully captures a single feather in extraordinary detail. Rendered on paper, this piece is unframed and does not arrive ready to hang.

John Matthew Moore began his painting career at an early age. Over the years he has honed his craft and developed an international reputation as an accomplished artist. Though the inspiration for his works is drawn from 17th- and 18th-century artists, Moore’s own vision is evident. His paintings are larger than life seeming to explode off of the page while maintaining their scientific integrity, and resulting in a photo-realistic effect. Moore is a member of Capital Artist Collective.
