An exquisite original period black-and-white Photogravure N12 of Geum rivale, Drooping Avens, Flower-bud, with the sepals removed, enlarged 25 times, by German photographer and professor Karl Blossfeldt (June 13, 1865 – December 9, 1932). The photographs are from the end of 19th century, but they were published in his book Urformen der Kunst in 1928, in Germany. First Limited Edition that made Karl Blossfeldt famous overnight. Excellent condition - never framed.
