Eloise by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1955. Stated first printing, with faint yellowing to book boards. Unclipped jacket ($2.95) is in unusually good condition. With original text, different in later printings. "Brooklyn Dodgers" for "New York Jets" on jacket. "My mother knows Lily Daché" changed to "Coco Chanel." "Here's what I like...Grass" became "Dandelions" and "I hate Peter Rabbit" removed, among other changes. Very collectible, with fold-out page intact.
