Hello! You’re probably here because we requested permission to use your content. First of all, it means we love your style! Second, it means we’d like to use your content (photo and/or video) as part of One Kings Lane’s brand marketing.

We regularly reach out to content creators, interior designers, and community members to request additional rights to use content, and we will always credit your channel-appropriate handle when attribution is reasonably possible.

In order to accept our additional rights requests, you must:

  • 1. Be the owner of this content, and retain all rights, title, and interest in it.
  • 2. Have the consent and any necessary releases from any people who may appear in this content.
  • 3. Agree to indemnify and hold harmless One Kings Lane and its corporate affiliates from all liabilities, claims, and expenses arising from any breach of your representations and warranties regarding ownership or intellectual property rights in the content.

Agreement. Please read carefully.

This Agreement grants One Kings Lane and its corporate affiliates (“the Brand”) a license to content (a photo and/or video) taken by you and posted on social media (“the Content”). By responding “Accept,” you or the organization you represent unconditionally consent to be bound by and become a party to this Agreement. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this Agreement, respond “Do Not Accept.” If you are executing this Agreement on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

License

I hereby grant to Brand and its contractors, assigns, licensees, successors in interest, legal representatives, and heirs, under all applicable intellectual property rights, a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right and license (including the right to sublicense third parties) to use, reproduce, make derivative works of, distribute, transmit, and otherwise exploit the Content in any manner, including without limitation on social media, and in connection with Brand’s marketing and promotion throughout the universe by any means now known or hereafter invented.

Brand shall have no obligation to use the Content. I understand that Brand will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide attribution to me, where reasonably possible.

Ownership

I retain all right, title, and interest (subject to the license granted herein) in and to the Content, and I represent and warrant that I (i) own the Content and/or possess all rights necessary to grant the rights and licenses set forth above; and (ii) have obtained all consents and releases (including from all models or other persons appearing in the Content) necessary for Brand to use the Content as contemplated in this Agreement without payment to any third party.

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Brand, its affiliates, contractors, and each of their respective employees, directors, suppliers, representatives, customers, and licensees from all liabilities, claims, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to any breach or alleged breach of my representations and warranties.

Miscellaneous

This Agreement represents the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior understandings. No modification or waiver shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. The provisions of this Agreement are severable, and the invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
